Day 6 : Hatton to ella to Tangalle

Had the privilege to be the first person at hatton station. Trains waited at almost all station for 10 minutes and each station was decorated with flora and fauna and has its own beauty. From hatton for every 4 stations the view changes from right to left. After hatton the train glides through several tunnels, out of which there is a long tunnel which takes around 2.15 sec & also passes through 4 tunnels.

Since the train was very slow reached around 1.30 PM and the weather was extremely hot at ella, all i wanted to reach tangalle as early and sleep.

How to reach Tangalle from Hatton

Took the early bus as about to catch the train at 7.10, the bus from dalhousie to hatton was very quick as it was morning hours. Hatton railway station is 10 min walking distance from bus stop. 

From ella took a 1 hour to wellawaya and from there took another bus to tangalle. All i could do is eat dinner, reach homestay refresh and retire. The route tangalle is through several forest and parks & it was a completely travelling day with the leech infected legs.
