Day 7 Tangalle to Hikkaduwa Coastal ride

Within the reach of 30mts from the home stay is the beach, my first view of Indian Ocean. Sea was very ruff and had a relaxed sun rise with only few dogs around the beach. Dogs were good enough to take selfies:)  Decided to get a scooter and go for a coastal ride for around 185 kms round trip & the passport has to be deposited. My first destination was to visit the blowhole, was fun to watch the water gushing through the hole forcibly.

The pristine aqua blue beaches was a fascinating and delight to the eyes, though i would tell myself i wouldn’t stop everywhere, couldn’t restrict my self gulping the sea through eyes. En route you would encounter several beaches and there are some tourist spots as well, but tallala, weligama, midigama beaches are my favorites and best ones across coastal. 60% of the stretch you would surpass the beaches and its beauty which can’t be missed. The weather was miserably hot which didn’t bother at that time. After i reached hikkaduwa, returned back on the same route with a non-stop ride, stopped at my favorite beaches for rest. You could also enjoy body surfing at weligama beaches. While i was coming saw a small hilly top from which you could enjoy the ocean, while i reached there enroute, there was a man-made swimming pool adjacent to the ocean. Had dinner, refresh and retired to the bed.
